Dr. B.E. (Bas) Dutilh

Associate Professor
Bioinformatics

The UU Metagenomics Group (MGX) investigates microorganisms and viruses in their natural environment. We study the microbial world by using data collected in laboratories around the world. More information can be found on my homepage: http://tbb.bio.uu.nl/dutilh

I also chair the Viral Ecology and Omics Group at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena, Germany. This group is part of the Microverse Cluster and focuses on understanding the functioning, dynamics, and interactions of viral and microbial communities in diverse biomes.
