In September it was fifty years ago that the independent Utrecht University magazine called ‘U Utrechtse Universitaire Reflexen’, later named Ublad, was founded. To celebrate this moment, DUB (digital Ublad) created an anniversary magazine about 50 years of student life. With captivating stories the editors aim to illuminate the relationship between the city and the university. An important goal, because students and the city of Utrecht need each other. This special publication is partly funded by crowdfunding through the Utrecht University Fund.
