New SIM fellow: Hana van Ooijen

The Netherlands Institute of Human Rights (SIM) at Utrecht University welcomes its new fellow: Hana van Ooijen.

Hana is an assistant professor of education. In this position, she employs the interplay between research, teaching and legal practice. Her research interests range from (international and Dutch) migration law to international public law, while her keen interest for a human rights perspective is the thread running through her expertise. Hana teaches several courses in the PIL master. As a member of the Legal Skills Academy she contributes to enhancing the legal skills education, focusing on oral skills. Additionally, she is involved in several projects, such as on moot courts and the RTT-harmonisation, and in the AI-working group.
